OK, this post is a bit behind but I had my birthday last Saturday, it was the best one I had. I did not get anything like a new car or such, what I did experience thou (that is the key here) is a day that someone I am totally head over heels in love with planned to make my day feel special.
Some details I am not posting but it started out with waking up to Amy snuggling beside me, then making a killer breakfast. After which I was lounging around just spending time with her watching a movie while the weather was somewhat dreary outside. Then I opened a few of my presents, then got bounced between two rooms in my apartment while Amy made a picnic dinner in the living room. After cleaning up Amy blindfolded me and drove me somewhere (I actually guessed the location, but baby I had no clue), which turned out to be the River Rock for a XXX Comedy Show. The show was excellent, funny, not too much XXX (I did see some boobs and some dancing thou) then we headed back home for the night.
As I mentioned prior, it is not all the stuff I got or what I saw, but the fact I was experiencing the day through Amy's thoughts on what I would like. I cannot say I had a better birthday, I am looking forward to many more, especially waking up with her snuggling against me.
